What we do

The Insights and Planning Office (IPO) works collaboratively across the institution to provide strategically relevant information and analysis to enable evidence based senior management decision-making that aligns institutional strategy with opportunities to enhance performance. The team supports researchers to build their profiles and also provides intelligence to departments and research areas about research performance/metrics and peer benchmarking.

A core objective and focus of the IPO within the current RCSI strategy “Transforming Healthcare Education, Research and Service” (2018–2022), is in relation to university rankings, education, research and societal impact and coordinating institutional plans to enhance RCSI’s international research and teaching reputation and relationships.
