RCSI was awarded Athena SWAN Bronze accreditation for positive gender practice in higher education. Minister for Higher Education Mary Mitchell O’Connor presented the award at the Athena SWAN Ireland Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, 14 November. The accreditation follows an assessment of gender equality in RCSI’s policies, practices and structures, and it recognises RCSI’s commitment to ensuring that gender equality is embedded across the institution.
