Overview of Activities and Contact Details

The Clinical Support Team provides end-to-end academic support to our students in the Intermediate and Senior Cycles of the undergraduate medical programme, including:

• Registration and orientation
• Coordinating the teaching and exam calendars
• Managing attendance and locker assignment
• Acting as secretariat to the Cycle Committees
• Administration of student electives
• Assisting in preparing students who are sitting the US or Canadian licencing examinations

This team also supports the Dublin/Northeast Intern Network, which is run by the HSE Medical Education and Training Research Unit.

We also manage the relationships with our affiliated teaching hospitals and support our staff in delivering their programmes in their respective campuses, to enable them to manage the challenges of the live clinical settings in which they operate.
