Room booking FAQs

How do I sign in?

Staff must login using their RCSI username, password selecting the appropriate domain; rcsi.com for RCSI staff and rcsi-mub.com for RCSI Bahrain staff.

What if I cannot sign in?

  • Ensure you are using your RCSI username, not to be confused with your RCSI email address.
  • Ensure you have selected the correct domain
  • If the above is correct and sign in this still doesn’t work please check with IT that your Active Directory account is active

What if my account details are incorrect?

Email bookings@rcsi.ie to rectify any errors in contact details.

What if the room I require does not appear in my venue search results?

First check the Booking Calendar to ensure the room is free at your requested time.

If you do not see the room listed on the booking calendar, certain access privileges may be applied and you should contact bookings@rcsi.ie to query.

The system won’t let me book service orders?

Online booking requests can only be processed during office hours (Monday – Friday 09.15 – 17.00hrs) with a minimum notice of 48 hours in advance of booking. Email any additional requirements to bookings@rcsi.ie

How do I amend previously made bookings?

Your original booking acknowledgement email will contain a link to amend your booking.

Will the online booking system send me invites, reminders for my bookings?

On the final Booking Request Acknowledgement page, users can click on the calendar icon and save it to their outlook or other email clients such as Google etc. Reminders can be set on the outlook invite.
