All Private Donations for Research must now be approved by the Development Office. Each donation will be assessed on a case by case basis.
Anyone wishing to register a private donation should contact Paul O’Reilly in the Development Office (pauloreilly@rcsi.ie).
In order to register a Private Donation to RCSI research, the following steps are required:
- Research Donation Agreement signed by funder and RCSI (Provided by the Development Office)
- The Development Office will process the funding once the signed Research Donation Agreement is received. All payments must be directed to the Development Office. (Further information can be found in the agreement if required)
- The Development Office will forward a copy of the Research Donation Agreement to the Post-award Officer in the ORI, who will then register the project on RIMS.
- When the Development Office confirms receipt of payment, they will inform the Finance Office to allocate the funding to the project account code and activate the code so the PI can then access the funds.
