Role of the Finance Department in the management and support of RCSI research activity.
Our aim is to provide an efficient research administrative support service
RCSI Finance Department will;
- Contribute to the formulation, implementation and review of research strategy and ensure alignment of finance to strategic objectives,
- Assess financial impact of strategy and operating decisions,
- Regular review of grant income and expenditure,
- Liaise with key national and international research partners on relevant financial and budgetary issues,
- Conduct regular business reviews with the Research Office, Research Departments and Principle Investigators,
- Ensure the timely production of high quality financial information to relevant stakeholders,
- Ensure that institutional reporting requirements of Funders are met to their satisfaction,
- Manage audits conducted by funding bodies.
