Identifying Industry Contacts

Researchers often ask the question,
“How do I identify industry contacts relevant to my research?”

There is a professional industry relationship management team within RCSI’s Office of Research and Innovation to offer advice and support to RCSI researchers seeking to identify relevant industry partners for collaborative, contract or consultancy engagements.

Please consider the points below then contact us to discuss how are can help.

  1. Consider how your research activity can be utilised by an industry partner to create value
  2. Identify the expertise/resources/research findings that you believe bring most value to this industry partner
  3. Identify some potentially relevant companies using internet search engines (e.g. Google, Clinicaltrials.gov) and company websites (e.g. https://www.merck.com/licensing/embracing_partnerships.pdf) that have a research or product focus aligned with the strengths you have previously identified

For more information please contact RCSI’s Head of Strategic Research Initiatives & Industry Partnerships, Seamus Browne.
