European Council of Nursing Regulators, (FEPI) and the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery RCSI – Signing ceremony – Monday, 19 January, 2015.

The Faculty of Nursing & Midwifery is currently working to a five-year strategic plan (2014-2019). Key to the implementation of this strategic plan is the development of key strategic relationships and alliances in terms of the main pillars and goals of this plan. This has resulted in the development of service level agreements and other contracts with the HSE, individual health service providers, and professional associations in areas such as education and training provision, development of competence assessment, clinical research development and implementation and project management.

We believe that this Service Level Agreement will afford FEPI and the individual member countries and organisations and the Faculty of Nursing & Midwifery the opportunity to formally collaborate and cooperate on a wide range of issues that are central to our shared agendas of quality education, high-quality, competent professional practice and quality safe patient care.

The service level agreement will facilitate a needs analysis of activity that will support FEPI to achieve its mission and its objectives and deliver on its areas of expertise in an efficient, effective, responsive and timely manner. The agreement will provide FEPI with some of its outsourced research, project and consultation activities.
