Surgical Committees

The Council of RCSI has ultimate responsibility for the determination of all policies and processes administered through the Department of Surgical Affairs in support of surgical training, surgical practice or overseas activities.

From an operational perspective, and under new governance arrangements, significant authority is devolved to the Surgery & Postgraduate Faculties Board. This Board is made up of representation from Surgery as well as the RCSI Faculties of Radiology, Dentistry, Nursing and Sport & Exercise Medicine.
