Pre and Post Natal

Exercising before, during and after pregnancy can have significant benefits, such as improved posture, relief of back pain, stronger muscles in preparation for labour and support for loosened joints, improved circulation and increased flexibility.

The Gym offers free pre and post-natal support for all RCSI employees. You do not need to be a member of the gym to avail of this service.

RCSI’s Gym specialists have the expertise and skills to correctly prescribe exercise programmes specifically for pregnant clients and those who have recently given birth. If you would like to commence or continue with an exercise routine during and/or after pregnancy, RCSI’s Gym trainers are delighted to guide you along the way for a safe and enjoyable experience. This service includes complimentary pre and post-natal consultations and training sessions. You will have your own individual plan to work on which will be tailored to your specific needs and abilities.

Members of the gym team are happy to meet you off site in order to maintain confidentiality.
