The Policy is intended to achieve the following criteria:

1. To achieve the most economically advantageous tender for RCSI.
2. To set out procurement processes and procedures based on set contract values/thresholds.
3. To set out formal evaluation criteria for the assessment of contract awards, including the documentation of evaluation panels and scoring criteria.
