Student Academic and Regulatory Affairs

We are committed to providing the best administrative support service to our students, candidates, sponsors and staff throughout their academic journey at RCSI.

What is SARA?

When RCSI achieved independent degree awarding status (DAS), we committed to establishing a new Registry function. SARA is RCSI’s Registry and academic administrative hub. In SARA, we will provide end-to-end administrative support for our academic programmes, from timetabling and class lists right through to the examinations and conferrals processes. We also maintain student policies and procedures, and we are the home of the student record.

Where is SARA based?

The SARA team supports our St. Stephen’s Green campus-based students, staff and candidates for membership and fellowship, through our centre on the first floor of 123 St. Stephens Green. Our students and staff based in our affiliated teaching hospitals are supported through our team in Beaumont.

These pages include further details on the SARA organisation structure and services provided.

If you have any questions or feedback in relation to SARA, please contact me at judithgilroy@rcsi.ie or on extension 2279.

Best wishes,

Judith Gilroy

Associate Director – Student, Academic and Regulatory Affairs
