The RCSI Sponsorship Officer assesses research proposals to ensure that they are compliant with regulatory requirements, that the plan is sustainable, and, where necessary, institutional oversight, insurance and contracts are put in place so that there are no issues arising or potential for harm to humans or for reputational damage to RCSI.
Researchers planning to submit an application with a clinical research component involving the recruitment of patients, samples or data, will be asked to complete the following form and send to the Sponsorship Officer for review before the project can be signed off at an Institutional level.
