The DCU Research Ethics Committee is holding a lecture and panel discussion on Research Ethics and Educational Research.

The event will take place on Friday April 12, 2-4 pm in the Fourth Floor Seminar Room, Invent, DCU.

Professor Mike McNamee from Swansea University will present a lecture on the topic followed by a panel discussion.

Professor McNamee is co-editor of The Ethics of Educational Research (Oxford: Blackwell, 2002) and has extensive experience in the UK with research ethics involving educational and sports research (http://www.swansea.ac.uk/staff/academic/humanandhealthsciences/mcnameem/).

The panel will include:

Dr Carmel Mulcahy, School of Education Studies, DCU

Dr Adam McAuley, School of Law & Government, DCU

Dr Zita Lysaght, St Patrick’s College
