RCSI Library Guide to Searching for Studies for Systematic Reviews

Dated - February 4, 2014

Dear Colleagues

If you are carrying out a systematic review, or a literature review for a thesis, you may be interested in the RCSI Library’s Guide to Searching for Studies for Systematic Reviews.

It covers, among other things, recommended databases, grey literature, scoping your topic, identifying search terms and documenting your search strategy.

The guide can be found on Moodle – go to the Information Seeking & Library Skills module and scroll down to Section 5: Evidence-based Healthcare Reviews

For further information, contact Grainne McCabe (gmccabe@rcsi.ie) or Paul Murphy (pjmurphy@rcsi.ie) in the Mercer Library or Breffni Smith (breffnismith@rcsi.ie) in Beaumont Hospital Library.

Best Wishes
