On the 26th of April 2014, Soapbox Science will join efforts with Trinity College Dublin (TCD) to transform the University’s open spaces into a hub of scientific learning and discussion, as some of Ireland’s leading female scientists take to their soapboxes to showcase science to the general public. The event’s mission remains the same: to help eliminate gender inequality in science by raising the profile, and challenging the public’s view, of women and science. 2014 saw strong competition to appear at this Dublin’s event with over 20 applications received.
Dr Lorna Lopez from the Department of Psychiatry in RCSI will give a lecture on “Clues to understanding your brain”. There is no need to register for this event.
