Is architecture and history your thing? Good news… RCSI is opening its doors again for Open House Dublin again this year!
This is the perfect chance for you to walk the halls of one of Dublin’s most iconic buildings. You can see and learn about the exquisite architecture on display at RCSI all while recounting the College’s history, from its student and staff involvement in World War I to occupation of the College during Easter Week by insurgents under the command of Michael Mallin and Countess Markievicz to the election of both the first female Dean of a medical school and first President of a Surgical College in 2010.
Tours of RCSI will take place on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th October at the below times:
Saturday 18th October – 11am & 12pm
Sunday 19th October – 12pm & 1pm
Spaces on these tours will be on a first-come-first served basis. With only 35 places per tour you’ll have to get here early!: Just turn up and look out for Open House Dublin volunteers! Meeting place for the Open House at RCSI tours are at the York Street entrance to the College. For instructions on how to get to RCSI on foot, by car or public transport, please see www.rcsi.ie/location_maincampus.
