The Breast Cancer Ireland Great Pink Run will take place on Saturday 30th August 2014 at 10.00am in the Phoenix Park, Dublin.
The day offers a 5K family fun run, jog or walk and a 10K challenge for those seeking personal bests, with Irish Olympian Sonia O Sullivan setting the pace. On the day of the run, the Phoenix Park will be transformed into a carnival of pinkness with games; face painters, refreshments and music on hand to entertain the entire family.
The Great Pink Run provides an opportunity for the entire family to enjoy a day out together. Everyone knows someone who has been affected by breast cancer and this is a great opportunity to show your support.
The RCSI School of Physiotherapy will be supporting RCSI staff participating in the run and will be on hand on the day to take RCSI staff through a warm up and cool down to help prevent any injuries or strains.
RCSI has teamed up with Breast Cancer Ireland to offer all RCSI staff a discounted registration rate of €20 per person to participate in the Breast Cancer Ireland Great Pink Run.
