The Times Higher Education (THE) WorId University Rankings 2016-2017 have been released and once again, RCSI has significantly improved its position in this year’s rankings. RCSI is now ranked in the #201- 250 category, moving up from its 2015-2016 ranking of #251-300. This places RCSI joint 1st, with UCD and NUIG, out of the eight degree-awarding institutions in the Republic of Ireland included in the rankings. THE World University Rankings employs 13 separate performance indicators to reflect strengths in the five areas of teaching, research, citations, industry income and international outlook.
