On Wednesday 1st March, Niall Breslin (Bressie) was awarded Honorary Fellowship of RCSI Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery in recognition of his contribution to mental health advocacy. Mr Breslin’s fellowship, the highest honour the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery can bestow, will open the 36th Annual RCSI International Nursing and Midwifery Research and Education Conference, which will run until 2nd March. More than 250 nurses and midwives will attend this conference to hear speakers from all over Europe, the USA, Australia, the Middle East, Canada and Ireland on the latest developments in nursing and midwifery.
