Second Transition To Health TY Physiotherapy programme highlights importance of exercise, health and well-being

Pictured (l-r) is Dr Helen French, Louise Keating and Mary Boyd (School of Physiotherapy) alongside the 25 transition year students who took part in the second annual ‘Transition to Health’ programme from 27th- 28th of February. The programme aimed to enable the students to enhance their physical and mental health and well-being, as well as to introduce them to the use of cutting edge technology in health.  The programme was delivered by School staff; Louise Keating (programme coordinator), Dr Helen French, Mary Boyd and Dr Ailish Malone, as well as TERG researchers; Dr Alan Ryan and Emily Ryan and dietician, Orla Walsh and sports psychologist, Dr Olivia Hurley, with the administrative assistance of Jen Kelly (Conference & Events).
