Translational cancer research is fast emerging as the cornerstone of personalised medicine. Here at RCSI a huge amount of current research is focused on understanding cancers in a bench-to-bedside manner. We are organizing a one-day Cancer Conference on the topic of tumour profiling and cancer biomarkers, with industry perspective from Almac Diagnostics. This is primarily a 3U event encompassing representation from RCSI, DCU, NUIM and will also have wider appeal to the other Dublin colleges and affiliated teaching hospitals.
It is scheduled to take place on Thursday 19th September 2013 at RCSI.
