The Faculty of Nursing & Midwifery, RCSI hosts an Annual International Nursing & Midwifery Research conference. The conference is in its 34th year and as such is the oldest conference of its kind in Europe. The theme for this year’s conference is: “Advancing Nursing & Midwifery Practice Linking National and International Perspectives.”
The conference is taking place on Wednesday 18th and Thursday 19th February 2015 in RCSI. The Opening Ceremony and Annual Dinner will take place on Wednesday, 18th February at 6.30pm. This year the Faculty will be awarding three Honorary Fellowships of the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery. The fellowships will be awarded to:
· Her Royal Highness, Princess Muna Al-Hussein of Jordan
· Ms Rachel MacLeod, The Rose Project
· Mr Paul Gallagher, President, Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland
The Annual Nursing & Midwifery Research Conference Day on 19th February boasts an exciting line-up of inspirational and informative keynote and plenary sessions as well as international oral and poster presentations.
