This engaging presentation by Lisa Donaldson (COSYST) & Rebecca Kirrane (SPHeRE) will showcase the RCSI led M.Sc. in Community Systems Health Research and the HRB-funded SPHeRE PhD Programme in population health and health services research. Attendees can experience some of the learning technologies employed such as Kahoot, and Padlet and will see real life examples of Twitter exercises, Animoto and Moovly videos, and infographics with Easel.ly. These free tools support the student learning experience by presenting course content using many different media and enabling collaborative learning.

Lisa Donaldson is a Learning Technologist with the School of Nursing in DCU. She is currently working with RCSI ;and the University of Malawi to roll out an online M.Sc in Community Systems Health Research. Lisa has a Masters in Applied Elearning from DIT and post grads in Education and Computer Applications in Education.
Rebecca is the Learning Technologist on the HRB-funded SPHeRE PhD Programme in population health and health services research. Her background is in digital media and media education and she has taught art, multimedia, animation, video and design to students from ages 5 – 25. She holds a Masters in Technology & Learning from TCD.
