The explorer Henry Stanley was brought back from the brink of death a number of times while on the Emin Pasha expedition in the Congo from 1886 to 1889. Who was the Irish surgeon who carried out such miracles?
One Thomas Heazle Parke LRCSI 1878 and FRCSI 1889.
