Dear Colleagues,
Sir Andrew Horne LRCSI & LRCPI was Master of the National Maternity Hospital and is mentioned in James Joyce’s Ulysses. His daughters Patricia and Margaret, will appear on ‘Nationwide’ on RTE TV on Friday 1st August at 7pm discussing their father’s role in Gallipoli.
Andrew Horne was one of the last Medical Officers to leave the peninsula, and they will show some of his original photographs from the Gallipoli campaign.
