Congratulations to Dr Sean Whelan and Dr Shane Farrington who were recently announced as winners of the Beaumont Hospital Medals 2019. Within the Dublin North Eastern Intern Network, interns presented clinical cases at Grand Rounds where they were adjudicated by Dr Colm Magee and Prof. Arnie Hill. The Lyons Medal in Medicine was awarded to Dr Sean Whelan (left), who also won overall prize for best case presentation. The McDonnell Medal in Surgery was awarded to Dr Shane Farrington (right).
