On Wednesday 9 October, Naude Du Plessis, Student Union President 2012/13 presented a cheque for €8,500 to Cystic Fibrosis Ireland. The sum was raised by Naude and his Student Union team during their reign. Each year, the RCSI Student Union adopt a charity and hold events and activities during the year to raise funds on their behalf.
