Pictured is Dr Aamir Hameed (Department ofAnatomy) and clinical researcher on the AMCARE project, who was named as first runner up of the Enterprise Ireland Cleveland Clinic Innovation Award at the IMDA/EI/IDA CEO Forum Awards 2014 that took place on Thursday 11th December. Aamir was recognised for a project submitted on a novel method to protect the heart from damage during chemotherapy.
