RCSI’s Court of Examiners was established in 2014 to increase the profile of postgraduate surgical examining and to provide a forum for examiners to discuss and be involved in the future direction of Membership and Fellowship exams. The Inaugural Annual Meeting and Dinner of the Court was held at the College on May 20th and was attended by more than 50 MRCS and FRCS Court Members. The meeting focused on contemporary issues relating to examining generally and to the Intercollegiate Membership Examinations in particular. Speakers included Professor John Hyland, Paul Nolan (Surgical Affairs), Dr Eva Doherty (Surgical Affairs), Eamon Mackle, Martin Cunningham (SARA), Professor David Croke (QEO) and Professor Sean Tierney (Surgical Affairs).
