Professor Ciarán O’ Boyle Director Institute of Leadership Welcomes New Postgraduate Students

Professor Ciarán O’ Boyle, Director of the Institute of Leadership  and the Institute’s Programme Directors welcomed 120 new post-graduate students to the RCSI on their  orientation day for MSc programmes – MSc in Leadership, MSc in Healthcare Management and MSc in Quality in Healthcare Management.  Speaking at the Orientation Day, Professor O’ Boyle said “Our goal is to assist our students, all of whom are health or education professionals, to develop their leadership and managerial capacity in order to make themselves and their organisations more effective. Course participants in this year’s intake come from acute and community care settings, regulatory bodies, third level Institutions and public and independent sectors. The multidisciplinary nature of the group adds significantly to the capacity of the Institute to foster inter-professional learning. The Institute team is very committed to the goal of improving health and education and is also committed to supporting our new students on their continuing professional journey”.  Orientation programmes for Dubai and Bahrain take place on 22nd – 24th & 5th – 7th October respectively.
