This summer RCSI welcomed its first cohort of ten undergraduate students to the Inaugural RCSI StAR International Summer Internship Programme. Students came from Washington University, Cornell University, University of California, Berkeley, University of Oregon, Queen’s University Belfast, University of Liverpool and TCD to spend two months in laboratories around RCSI. To mark the end of the programme a research symposium took place on 1 August where students showcased their research and experience. The programme was led by Professor Darran O’Connor and Tracy Robson, MCT. Pictured is Professor Tracy Robson (right) with the programme participants.
