The Research Summer School Wrap-up Symposium took place Friday 24th July in RCSI. 15 randomly selected summer research students gave “Thesis in Three” style oral presentations on their summer research experience. There was also a poster session where the 6 visiting students from Soochow University presented their research projects. Pictured is International RSS student Zhe Zhang of Soochow University presents his research project to judges Dr Olga Piskareva (left) and Dr Frances Horgan. Zhe carried out his project “Assessing the reproducibility and stability of Protein loaded PLGA microparticles” in the School of Pharmacy under the supervision of Dr Helena Kelly.The event was organised by RCSI Research Summer School Director Dr Sarah O’Neill and International RSS Programme Manager Dr Liam Burke.
