
Pictured (far left) at the annual meeting of the Biomedical Sciences Section of the Royal Academy of Medicine in Ireland, held in UCD on June 19th is Sinead Quinn (Molecular Medicine) who was joint winner of the Donnegan Medal. She was presented with the prize from the President of the Biomedical Sciences Section, Professor Aidan Bradford (RCSI Department of Physiology and Medical Physics) also pictured. This was an extremely competitive, all-Ireland competition open to first-time presenters of an oral communication at a scientific meeting and there were 15 entrants.
