Pictured is Alan Ryan, PhD student in TERG, who won best poster piize at the Termis EU 2014 Congress held in Genova from 10–14 June for his poster titled ‘A Biomimetic Tissue Engineered Vascular Graft Fabricated From Collagen and Elastin’. Alan has also been awarded the prestigious IET Postgraduate Scholarship for an Outstanding Researcher and will be presented with the award at the IET Achievement Awards Ceremony on 19th November 2014.
