Title: Postdoc Researcher
Department: School of Nursing and Midwifery/Skin Wounds and Trauma R/C
Tenure: Full Time Specified Purpose 1 year, hybrid/remote options, flexible hours
Location: 123 St Stephens Green, Dublin 2
Reporting to: Head of School of Nursing or nominee
Salary: Aligned to Research Fellow Scale s (€64,537+ Depending on experience)
Start Date: February 2023
Specific duties:
- Oversee the completion of a medical device observational clinical study in a Diabetic Clinic
- Ensure adherence to the clinical investigation plan
- Develop data collection tools and study design and statistical analysis plans as required
- Set up database and database management plan
- Secure research governance structures
- Put in place all administrative procedures and logistics necessary for the correct conduct of the clinical study
- Establish and maintain regular communication with study partners
- Prepare papers for publication in Q1 wound care journals
- Undergoing programmes of training and development as may be required from time to time
- Performing such other duties as may be required from time to time
Qualifications:
The person must hold a PhD in health care/health science.
Knowledge & Experience – (Essential):
- Be a Post-Doctoral Researcher with knowledge of clinical studies.
- Have project management experience.
- Have prepared research publications.
- Have excellent written and oral communication skills.
