The School of Physiotherapy has kindly agreed to provide a free physiotherapy advice clinic for those who might be experiencing running related symptoms or injuries in the lead up to the Great Pink Run. The service will be provided by Louise Keating, who is a specialist chartered physiotherapist and a lecturer in the School of Physiotherapy.
During the session, Louise will take a history and perform a brief physical exam in order to triage your clinical problem and provide you with training advice, as well as recommend if there is a need for follow up care with your GP and / or chartered physiotherapist.
Places are limited and will be booked on a first come first served basis. The clinic will take place on Thursday, 13th August between 11 am and 1 pm and each appointment is 10 minutes long. If you would like to avail of the service please email communications@rcsi.ie. You will be allocated a time slot based on availability. You should bring a pair of shorts and your running shoes to the appointment.
