The Inter-professional Education (IPE) Working Group at RCSI organised a lunchtime seminar on November 24th to highlight and discuss our experiences of Delivering Inter-professional Education at RCSI.

Inter-professional Education (IPE) is defined as “occasions when two or more health care professionals/students learn with, from, and about each other in order to improve collaboration and the quality of care” (CAIPE, 2002).
A focused Vice Deanship for Inter-Professional Education (IPE) and working group (WG) was created in September 2014. The IPE WG members are – Vice Dean for IPE Prof. Frances Horgan, School of Medicine – Professor David Williams, School of Pharmacy – Dr Judith Strawbridge, Dr Cristin Ryan and School of Nursing RCSI – Dr Declan Patton.
