Science without Borders FAQ

Who can participate?

Brazilian candidates of proven academic performance and potential and candidates who have been approved  by RCSI.
The aim of the programme is to train PhD students abroad in institutions with recognized level of excellence in knowledge areas considered cutting-edge scientific and technological, those in which the graduate is deficient in the country or even in priority areas shown below in the Science without Borders Program.

The person responsible for submitting the proposal for Full PhD abroad is the candidate himself.

What are the essential documents for registration?

Essential documents for registration (submitted by a candidate through the Science without Borders online platform)
a) Proposal Form Online: http://www.cienciasemfronteiras.gov.br/web/csf/graduacao
b) Curriculum updated at Lattes Platform;
c) Curriculum of the supervisor abroad;
d) Undergraduate and Master Transcription Report;
e) Work Plan or Pre-project in Portuguese, with a schedule for the entire period of the course, and prediction of field research, when appropriate;
f) Statement of interest on the part of the supervisor in RCSI;
g) Conditional Letter of Acceptance from RCSI School of Postgraduate Studies.
