Lunchtime Session: Setting effective goals and objectives
The 2017 PDP objectives setting and personal development planning process is now underway. This process gives all staff and their managers the opportunity to identify and agree:
- The key deliverables and priorities to focus on for the coming year;
- A personal development plan to support you to be successful; and
- The key values and behaviours to build on and develop.This lunchtime session is designed to support you through the objective setting process by providing guidance on setting SMART goals and objectives and gives you an opportunity to ask any questions you might have about the process. This is an hour long session open to all staff, the last 15 minutes will focus on the introduction of SciVal data in this year’s Academic and Research forms.
