The workshop is designed to give an overview on different aspects of science communication. Such as how scientific achievement or discovery appears on the news. What makes it attractive to media? How to bring the message across? How media educates the public on scientific topics? How it affects research funding policy? These questions will be discussed with the examples from the Irish print media.
