This course is designed to enable delegates to identify and distinguish between different hazards that are present in the workplace. This course will provide you with the knowledge, skill and steps to carry out risk assessments.
Risk assessments are carried out on all of RCSI work activities i.e. chemical & biological agents, equipment, pregnancy, office, display screen equipment, young persons, lone working etc. Detailed reports are prepared identifying the severity of the risk, the control measures currently in place and recommendations on further control measures required to comply with legislation, best practices and manage the risk effectively.
The course will last a half day. It is an interactive course where a practical session on carrying out a risk assessment will be completed.
