MS Office 2010 Update

This course is designed specifically for anyone migrating from the older Microsoft Office versions (97-2003) to the newer versions (2007-2013). The biggest challenge for anyone upgrading is getting used to the newer user interface with the re-organised structure of the ribbon and tabs replacing the older structure of drop-down menus.

The course will bring you through a detailed overview of this new user interface, guide you around the new structure in some of the core Office application areas and provide you with the information you need to help you to begin getting comfortable in the new environment.  During the course we will also discuss the newer file types, the new features and functions that make the applications easier to use and provide you with an opportunity to ask any questions that you may have.

The course will use the core MS Office applications areas of MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint to demonstrate the changes, updates and improved functionalities in the suite.

Target Audience: Members of staff who wish to use or have recently started using Office 2007- 2010.
