The Basic First Aid course is designed to train personnel in basic first aid skills. It is ideally suited to companies where employees have direct contact with staff and students.
The course has an emphasis on dealing with emergency life threatening situations in the absence of an Occupational First Aider and keeping the casualty alive until professional help arrives.
This one day course covers a comprehensive range of topics to prepare participants to administer emergency first aid care. Participants will learn a high level of practical skill so that they can deal competently with any situation that may arise.
Target Audience: This course is a refresher for those who have completed this 2 years ago and for anyone else who wish to do it for the first time.
Refresher required every 2 years.
