Designed for early career researchers but useful to anyone new to applying for research grants including research fellows, research assistants and research students. The session covers:

•Types of funding available

•Elements to consider when writing a grant application:

– The Stakeholders e.g. funding bodies, host institutions, collaborators etc.
– The Planning Process
– Structuring the proposal itself
– Application Outcomes
